Trisha Torrey came to Antioch
University Midwest in Yellow Springs, Ohio, to
participate in a panel on providing good health care to
our region. The audience especially loved her
interactions with hospital administrators as she so
aptly combined compassion with the truth and thus
balanced the discussion. Others remarked of her
fantastic energy and knowledge. Trisha has my
admiration, friendship and trust as I sense in her one
who cares deeply that patients and their families be
provided with the best care possible. |

We were pleased to have Trisha
Torrey be our keynote speaker at our America’s Sales
Meeting this year. Her knowledge and expertise on the
subject of patient advocacy inspired our Business
Development Team. The feedback was overwhelmingly
positive and they saw the need to take her message to
the street and help further educate and grow our
practices. |

| Trisha has an amazing
story to tell, and she tells it amazingly. She speaks
from the heart, connects with her audience, and drives
her points home in a way that leaves one feeling
empowered and driven to action. She was the perfect
speaker for our event. |

| As healthcare grows
more participatory, we realized that it was essential to
bring the patient perspective to our annual Partners
HealthCare Connected Health Symposium. As founder and
organizing chair, I quickly thought of Trisha for our
Symposium, which attracted 956 attendees. Trisha brought
that needed perspective and framed it in a way that made
sense to our attendees, with points that were clear,
important and useful. Her approach is collaborative and
her message important to healthcare focused
organizations intent on leading and innovating as we
experience seismic shifts in the provider-patient
relationship. I recommend Trisha highly and without
hesitation |

| I had the wonderful
opportunity and pleasure to work with Trisha during the
production of a series of health programs for NY PBS
stations. Her expertise and condor during the project
was greatly appreciated and made all the difference in
providing a fair and balanced approach in how patients
need to communicate with their doctors. She is a superb
source of information, and there could not be any better
advocate for patients today dealing with our critical
healthcare system |
